The following list is a brief introduction to the popular FTP software called FileZilla. In this tutorial, we will show you how to connect to a server using the standard FTP protocol.

FileZilla Tutorial - Local files on your computer
Once connected to the server, you should see a similar screen to the one below. If you receive an error message, you should review our FTP Error Codes page to troubleshoot the issue. Below you'll see there is a section for "Local site"; this is a view of your computer's files and folders. In this tutorial, we have our "index.htm" file stored on our main "C" drive under the folder called "temp", as shown in the box beside the "Local site".
